Sydney received an Accounting A.A. degree from IRSC in June 2015, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State University in December 2018, and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of West Florida in May 2021. She earned her CPA license in the state of Florida in October 2021.
With seven years of professional experience, Sydney specializes in tax preparation, auditing, and bookkeeping, with a primary focus on non-profit, insurance, and governmental audits. Her career began as a staff tax preparer before transitioning into a staff auditor role, where she worked extensively with non-profit organizations across Tallahassee and the Florida Panhandle. She later gained expertise in the captive insurance industry and advanced to a senior auditor role specializing in insurance audits and 10-K preparation for a public insurance company. Sydney also served as an accounting manager, where she assisted clients in various industries by preparing financial reports, projections, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Now based in South Florida, Sydney has returned to her non-profit roots and is expanding her expertise in Common Interest Realty Association (CIRA) audits. Her passion for accounting and dedication to her clients drive her to deliver exceptional service while fostering collaboration with team members.
Sydney is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and learning to play the violin.
